The Greek Hospitality Awards 2024 took place with the participation of top government officials, institutional representatives, and leading tourism businesses in Greece. Recognized as the most prestigious institution celebrating excellence in Greek hospitality, the awards were presented for the 10th consecutive year under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).

The glittering ceremony, marked by the hashtag #grha24, was held on Friday, November 1, at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel in Athens. The event featured both in-person attendance and a simultaneous online broadcast via the Live On Expo Complex, an innovative 3D exhibition and conference platform developed by LiveOn, a digital platform for Business Communication and Events.

The ceremony commenced with a formal address by Mr. Christos Staikouras, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, who highlighted major projects that have contributed to the country’s tourism development, the enhancement of domestic tourism, and ongoing initiatives.

Mr. Nikos Papathanasis, Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, also delivered a speech, emphasizing that Greece has become a globally chosen destination for millions while maintaining stability. He noted that in 2024, Greece is projected to achieve 2.3% economic growth, paving the way for the creation of new jobs.

In her remarks, Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms. Elena Rapti stated that the Ministry of Tourism and GNTO, recognizing the exceptional quality of services, support businesses in the hospitality sector to ensure Greece maintains its prominent position on the global tourism map.

Representing our company at the event were Mr. Athanasios Angelakakis, the owner, who presented awards to the winners in the category of “Best Greek Business City Hotel,” and Ms. Aikaterini Kozanioti, our General Manager.
